[Interim] Medior Data Engineer

Location: Netherlands (50% Hybrid) 
Contract Duration: 6 months (with possibility of extension) 
Hours per Week: 40H per Week (Fulltime) 
 
Our client, a leading mobility company based in the NL, is seeking a skilled Medior Data Engineer with a strong background in data engineering and a minimum of 5 years of experience. The ideal candidate will have expertise in IBM DB2, IBM DataStage, Data Vault Modeling, and SQL. The role involves working on complex data solutions and ensuring efficient data integration and processing. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Develop, maintain, and optimize data pipelines on the IBM DB2 platform.

• Design and implement ETL processes using IBM DataStage.

• Work with Data Vault Modeling to structure and manage data warehouses.

• Write efficient SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and provide technical solutions.

• Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all systems. 

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering.

• Strong expertise in IBM DB2, IBM DataStage, Data Vault Modeling, SQL, and Python. 

• Experience in designing and implementing data warehouse solutions.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Fluent in Dutch (Mandatory).

• Must be based in the Netherlands.

• Knowledge of cloud-based data solutions is a plus.
