Pacific Clinics serves children, transitional age youth, families, adults, and older adults. POSITION SUMMARY:
Scheduled Hours per Day: Mon-Fri, 8-4:30pm
Primary responsibility to perform clerical and purchasing related tasks by performing the following personally or with assistance from department staff members.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Under the direction of the Purchasing Manager coordinate responsibilities of the Purchasing Department.
• Ensures all purchase orders and receipts are processed through Sage Intacct and all necessary paperwork is maintained.
• Works with Accounts Payable to settle price discrepancies between purchase orders and invoices.
• Process the orders of office supplies with the assistance of the Purchasing Clerk.
• Obtain price quotes for office furniture and other non-contracted items from vendors.
• Submits credit card reconciliation to Accounts Payable
• Process orders for Pacific Clinics’ forms for printing and other forms, records, documents and/or printed media. Communicate with vendor(s) to ensure the accuracy and timely completion of orders.
• Maintain a professional relationship with staff and vendors.
• Performs other assignments or projects as directed by the Accounts Payable and Procurement Manager.
• Attends and participates in staff meetings to provide input towards department development and staff training and contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of department operations and communication.
• Interacts with other internal programs, clinical/support staff and external sources such as school or community personnel as applicable.
• Reports to work on time and maintains reliable and regular attendance.
• Models Pacific Clinics’ approach, mission and core values in all communication and correspondence.
• Communicates effectively in a culturally competent and diverse consumer population and promotes favorable interaction with managers, co-workers and others.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS/INTERACTION:
Initiate and maintain professional interactions and communication with Clinic’s employees and/or others.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE/POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
• High School diploma or general education degree; or a minimum of four (4) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of three (3) years experience in a large volume purchasing department.
• Excellent computer skills and demonstrated ability to work in Windows environment (including Work and Excel).
• Must possess a valid California driver's license and maintain an insurable driving record under the Clinics' liability policy.
