About the Role:
The Warehouse Inventory Manager is responsible for overseeing inventory control processes across all warehouse locations, including inbound inventory receiving, physical inventory layout, organization, and quality control, across the Ecommerce and B2B functions.
This role ensures that the warehouse is optimized for efficiency, with a focus on effective product placement, streamlined flow, and clear labeling systems. The primary responsibilities of the Warehouse Inventory Manager include maintaining inventory accuracy, ensuring product quality through rigorous quality control processes, and managing the physical layout and organization of the warehouse to support efficient operations and facilitate quick access to inventory for distribution.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage inventory in compliance with the company’s policies, strategy, and vision to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Oversee and organize warehouse inventory according to FIFO (First In, First Out) strategy, optimizing product flow and accessibility.
- Oversee inventory receiving processes, including the management of purchase orders, returns, and pullbacks to ensure accurate stock levels.
- Supervise inventory control processes, including stock count management, inventory audits, and discrepancy research, to maintain accurate inventory records.
- Lead quality control for reorders and existing inventory callouts, collaborating with the Production Team to perform quality checks for new collection launches.
- Work closely with the Product team to uphold established quality standards, ensuring consistent product quality across all categories, including product, packaging, and fixtures.
- Stay informed about product construction updates to accurately differentiate between previous and newly constructed inventory, ensuring accurate product classification.
- Assess warehouse inventory following Retail QC Callouts to validate any quality concerns arising from retail locations, addressing issues promptly.
- Maintain TOPs (Technical Operating Procedures) and supporting tolerance charts to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Lead Happiness Guarantee processing with a clear understanding of construction changes and landed inventory flow, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the Production Team to address quality issues and implement corrective actions to maintain product integrity.
- Physically move failed products to the QC location and prepare shipments for VRMA (Vendor Return Merchandise Authorization) as needed.
- Report on established departmental KPIs on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis, providing insights into inventory performance.
- Investigate inventory variances and outline opportunities to improve processes to prevent discrepancies in the future.
- Maintain Happiness Guarantee reporting and deliver updates cross-departmentally on established cadences, ensuring smooth communication and process alignment.

REQUIREMENTS:
- 5-8 years of prior experience in a similar position.
- Must be over the age of 18
- Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed - understanding the importance of supporting the needs of a retail business
- Ability to be flexible to the needs of the business
- Must have proven experience leading inventory practices in a warehouse environment
- Must be over the age of 18
- Travel not necessarily, but may be needed on ad-hoc basis.
