<h3>Company Description</h3><p>Join <strong>Rexel/Kellihers Electrical</strong>, Ireland’s leading electrical wholesaler.</p><p>We are recruiting a Warehouse Operative for our Distribution Centre in Baldonnell.</p><p> </p><h3>Job Description</h3><p><strong>Job Purpose</strong></p><p>The Reach Truck Driver / General Operative is responsible for the safe and efficient movement, storage, and retrieval of stock within the warehouse using a reach truck, as well as supporting general warehouse operations including picking, packing, loading, and stock control using WMOS system.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Operate a reach truck safely to load, unload, and move pallets within racking systems.</li><li>Pick and pack orders accurately in line with warehouse management system (WMS) instructions.</li><li>Load and unload delivery vehicles, ensuring goods are secured correctly for transport.</li><li>Carry out general warehouse duties including sorting, labelling, stock rotation and general housekeeping.</li><li>Complete loading manifests and stock documentation accurately.</li><li>Conduct daily pre-use checks on the reach truck and report any faults immediately.</li><li>Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working area in line with health and safety standards.</li><li>Assist with stock takes and cycle counts as required.</li><li>Work collaboratively with the wider warehouse team to meet daily targets and deadlines.</li><li>Always follow all company health and safety policies and procedures.</li></ul><p><strong><em>This job description is not exhaustive and may be amended to reflect the changing needs of the business.</em></strong></p><p> </p><h3>Qualifications</h3><p><strong>Requirements &amp; Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Valid, in-date reach truck licence (essential).</li><li>Previous experience operating a reach truck in a warehouse environment.</li><li>Good understanding of manual handling and warehouse health and safety practices.</li><li>Basic literacy and numeracy skills for completing paperwork and stock records.</li><li>Experience using a warehouse management system (WMS) is desirable.</li><li>Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.</li><li>Flexibility to work different shifts, or weekends as required.</li></ul><p><strong>Physical Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>Ability to safely lift and move stock in line with manual handling guidelines.</li><li>Comfortable working in a warehouse environment.</li><li>Able to remain on your feet and operate machinery for extended periods.</li></ul><p><strong>Health &amp; Safety</strong></p><p>All employees must comply with Rexel's health and safety policies, always wear appropriate PPE, and report any hazards, near-misses, or incidents to their supervisor immediately.</p><h3>Additional Information</h3><p><strong>Benefits:</strong></p><ul><li>Additional leave</li><li>Bike to work scheme</li><li>Company events</li><li>Company pension</li><li>Employee assistance program</li><li>Employee discount</li><li>On-site parking</li><li>Private medical insurance</li><li>Sick pay</li><li>Store discount</li></ul><div sr-tagline=""></div><p>At Rexel we welcome people from all backgrounds with diverse perspectives and experiences.
