Position Summary:
Oversees the technical team that examines components to diagnose issues professionally for repair, replaces broken or dysfunctional parts and fixes issues. Manages cost estimates for service and repair jobs while keeping meticulous logs on work provided. Supervises service writers and ensures all customer interface communications are professional and meet set specific standards.
Position Responsibilities:
· Oversees the service center with the aim of maximizing reliability and functionality while troubleshooting and fixing issues.
· Makes independent decisions on repair and warranty requirements when required.
· Provides leadership to all technical employees. Trains lower skilled employees on all areas of repair and service.
· Works closely with the sales team on forecasting, planning and customer response as needed.
· Assists all service center employees with providing exceptional customer service, education on repair requirements, and other cycling related products and services.
· Schedules work appropriate for each technician’s position and ensures that assignments are completed accurately and on time.
· Addresses all customer service warranty issues.
· Directs and oversees service orders and cost quotes as well as service and maintenance suggestions.
· Monitors all productivity goals and provides appropriate reports on service goals.
· Organizes and supports the required supplies and products with the technician’s center.
· Promotes a clean and effective work environment.
Specific Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required:
· Working knowledge of powersport mechanics
· In-depth knowledge of the methods, techniques, parts, tools and materials used in maintenance and repair of relative types of vehicles
· Familiarity with safety protocols

Position Qualifications:
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Associate’s degree or diploma in a service/mechanical related field preferred.
