Our Opportunity

The Specialist Sales Operations Analyst supports a specific stakeholder group outside of the Strategy and Operations team, taking ownership of tasks and executing to deliver team-wide impact. Completes tasks with minimal guidance and direction from others.

The Specialist Sales Operations team is part of Snyk’s broader Strategy & Operations team, the mission of which is to support Snyk’s leadership team in driving hyper-growth by enabling good & efficient decision-making, rapid & effective execution and scale. 

You will support both the Strategy & Operations as well as stakeholders from other business units to develop insights that lead to better decision-making, process implementation & optimization.

You’ll Spend Your Time:

• Scoping out and leads the execution of targeted cross-functional initiatives related to growth or operational efficiency.
• Supporting the business on more operational initiatives, such as creating and delivering weekly operations reports and forecasts.
• Tracking, analyzing, and reporting on KPIs using data visualization tools.
• Performing robust fact-based, quantitative analyses to gather insights and provide recommendations.
• Creating & delivering presentations to business leadership, delivering actionable insights to leadership to inform decisions. 
• Supporting ad hoc sales analytics and developing new reporting tools stemming from multiple data sources.
• Taking ownership of assigned tasks and projects, seeking guidance when needed, and showing an emerging willingness to take initiative in contributing to strategic initiatives.

What You’ll Need:

• Proficiency in analyzing and interpreting data using basic statistical techniques and visualization tools. 
• Ability to derive meaningful insights and present findings in a clear manner.
• Proficiency in assessing financial metrics, conducting basic forecasting, and evaluating investment opportunities. 
• Skilled in multitasking, prioritization, and managing projects in a fast-paced environment. 
• An understanding of S&O processes and principles and can communicate those to other teams.
• Ability to define and implement tactical solutions to issues of moderate complexity while understanding their impact. 
• Experience identifying root causes, proposing alternatives, and making recommendations.
• Ability to summarize and communicate information of moderate complexity to peers and immediate team members. 
• Experience delivering basic presentations and adjusting communication style based on audience needs.
• Willingness to collaborate with team members and seek feedback from managers and senior colleagues. 
• An adaptability to changing priorities and requirements in the strategic environment. 
• A growing interest in learning about the industry, market trends, and business strategies.
