Enterprise Backend Developer

Description

Flexi Software, a 30+ year old enterprise software company, has an immediate opening for a full-stack mid-level developer using Microsoft technologies. Flexi develops commercial enterprise accounting applications for cloud and on-premise deployments.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Develop components of an accounting application that is deployed in a distributed environment using the Microsoft Visual Studio integrated development environment.
• Design and develop implementations of functionality targeted for hosted applications that support multi-tenant, highly scalable transaction processing.
• Participate as a member of a developer team focused on bringing features and enhancements to our accounting software.
• Write high quality code and fix bugs
• Contribute to efforts that maintain legacy code and look for opportunities to modernize.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
• 5+ years’ with enterprise multi-layer applications using C++, and sql.
• Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio and Microsoft technology stack.
• Working knowledge of SOAP and REST.
• Good verbal and written communication skills

Additional Qualifications:

• Experience with XML, XSLT, WCF, web services, C#
• Familiarity with Blazor
• Understanding of component architecture
• Understanding of SQL with multiple table joins, groupings and sorting is a plus.
• Experience with Azure devops, including repos, branching, pipelines and pull requests
• Understanding of financial/accounting concepts a plus.
