Job Description

We are looking for an energetic and creative individual focused on NAND memory based storage systems, serving the Enterprise markets. Join us and be part of the team to define and to shape the future of Enterprise products!

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work with flash storage based 3D NAND systems design, analysis, integration and verification from product definition and planning through production and release.  For examples:
    • Ensure system design features meet product level read/write performance, latency and reliability requirements
    • Review system handling of NAND defects and errors to meet product level DPPM target
    • Establish full system validation coverage on all design features  
  • Review and perform product level failure debug and analysis
  • As needed, perform bench validation to validate system design flow
  • Work cross functionally with internal teams such as NAND design, device, product, application and system validation/reliability teams during entire planning, development and qualification phases.
  • Provides feedbacks on new 3D NAND system features for next generation memory and product developments. 
  • Develop new media management system features through cross-function collaboration with Memory technology and SSD firmware, architecture teams. 
  • Deliver world-class SSD based on the strong pillars of performance/QoS (Quality of Service), reliability, and cost.

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

  • Master's Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Computer or Solid-State Physics.
  • Knowledge of NAND flash memory based systems.
  • Knowledge of programming in high level languages (e.g. C, C++, Python).

PREFERRED:

  • Experience with Solid State Drive or other embedded system firmware development using C/C++.
