Overview
LMI is seeking a skilled Security Cooperation Specialist at our client site at Scott AFB, IL. Successful LMI Security Cooperation Specialist demonstrate competency in project planning and execution, strategic thinking, and relationship management while upholding the highest standard of ethical behavior. This position cannot be worked remotely.

Responsibilities
- Provide expert assistance to create and implement security cooperation activities that encourage and enable international partners to work with the USG to achieve strategic distribution objectives.
- Attend conferences and planning events as requested by the Government to facilitate the development and implementation of Security Cooperation/Strategic Engagement activities.
- Assist in assessing partner nation logistics capabilities and conducting necessary strategic and operational planning to mitigate identified capability shortfalls in comprehensive regional and/or country reports in support of the global distribution network.
- Assist in the development of USTRANSCOM command-level strategic documents that outline the command’s methodical approach to preserve and/or establish relationships with partner nations or interagency organizations to enhance the global distribution network.
- Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing two to six (2-6) visits annually with partner nations’ military personnel to USTRANSCOM
- Shall assist in planning, coordinating, and executing one to three (1-3) forums annually to include USTRANSCOM’s International Logistics Symposium with the joint community, military services, partner nations, industry, interagency, and international organizations.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in international relations or strategic studies preferred
- At least five years of experience in international relations and strategic studies with a comprehensive understanding of the current geopolitical environment. Security Cooperation experience highly desired.
- Thorough understanding of the U.S. national security policies and objectives
- Thorough understanding of USG laws and policies regarding Security Assistance and Security Cooperation programs.
- Thorough understanding of USTRANSCOM mission and objectives.
- Must possess Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility.
Targeted Salary Range: $90,000 - $105,000
