Job Description Summary

The Intermediate Business Systems Analyst will provide support for finance applications and production issues, and may assist with identifying business requirements for system solutions or improved processes that will increase efficiency and overall productivity for Transamerica.

Responsibilities

• Provides support, conducts research, and troubleshoots issues for Transamerica’s finance applications.
• Configures applications in accordance with business needs, policies, and procedures.
• Prepares documentation for processes and requirements as needed and suggests improvements.
• Works with various technical and business teams to determine solutions to issues, and communicates business and system impacts to IT, Operations, and other impacted teams.
• May perform business process analysis and needs assessments to align solutions with business needs and initiatives.
• May analyze existing documentation of business and system requirements and revise as necessary to resolve issues or enhance functionality.
• May elicit and be responsible for documenting business and system requirements.
• May use project management and program management methodologies to support the business and meet project deliverables.
