Senior Financial Analyst, Blink Finance

Blink is at the forefront of consumer electronics home security, and is the result of one of the most successful Kickstarter campaigns ever. Amazon’s Devices and Services organization seeks an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to be a key member of the Finance team supporting Blink. This role leads financial support of product promotions and global marketing strategy.

The successful candidate will have experience in past roles influencing business owners and supporting high-velocity decisions. The candidate will partner with multiple business stakeholders to provide financial guidance and leadership, as well as collaborate with cross-functional finance teams to support core financial processes. The candidate will maintain and seek to improve existing financial models to drive strategic business decisions for product discounts and promotional events. The candidate will lead financial support for global marketing including existing markets and new expansions, as well as support other advertising channels to drive financial efficiencies.

Key job responsibilities

• Lead financial support for Blink promotional strategy. Analyze the impact of product discount and promotional event decisions to measure the trade-off between investment decisions.
• Lead financial support for global marketing channels. Support business stakeholders with key financial metrics that help measure investment impacts.
• Use financial data backed assumptions to influence leadership to maximize profitability in support of long term investment decisions to grow the business.
• Dive deep into current finance and business processes to highlight opportunities for improvement. Seek to partner with the business to implement changes.
• Perform ad hoc financial analyses as required by finance and business leadership.

Basic Qualifications

• 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with advanced use of SQL for data mining and business intelligence
• Experience in financial modeling, P&L management or analysis
