About our group:
This person will play a key role in our Wafer Production Control Team which is responsible for controlling material going into and out of the manufacturing facility and reporting on the flow and activities of such.
This position will act as the primary point of contact for all wafers shipping to other facilities: most common Korat, Ireland and the vast number of vendors for our state of the art wafer process/manufacturing in our Normandale Facility.
About the role - you will:
- Act as the primary interface for material and financial issues
- Apply his or her understanding of manufacturing and factory work process levels to preparing status reports that support both factory and financial activities such as:
- Process levels, Schedule Adherence, Shipments, Inventories
- Financial management and reporting in SAP and Factoryworks
- Ensure daily transactions and shipping documents are processed correctly and accurately
- Process transactions for terminations, BUY, SELL, SWAPS, priority changes, repositioning, batch holds and releases
- Coordinate and consolidate the disposition of inventory
- Detect non-standard data in inventory, production and business situations and then developing and executing effective corrective action
- Support production through distribution of wafers to the wafer processing floor

Your experience includes:
- Ablilty to work On Site schedule of five 8-hour shifts Mon-Fri, potential to move to a four day 10-hour shift
- 2+ Years of successful experience in a Seagate manufacturing environment
- Exemplary organization skills and perform tasks error free
- Demonstrable ability to manage Production Control documentation
- Advanced ability to use Excel spreadsheets to maintain journal and various process control tools such as MES Factoryworks
- Ability to communicate clearly on detailed information to internal, technical, and operational personnel
- Ability to routinely move materials weighing up-to-50 lbs for separation and distribution to operations, engineering, or the dock
- High School Graduate or equivalent training and experience
