The Senior Leader, International Logistics will be a key stakeholder supporting the movement of goods from our network of partners around the world to our Distribution Centers, Home Delivery Centers, and Galleries in the United States and Europe. The scope of the responsibilities include, but are not limited to, ocean freight, air freight, intermodal rail, and trucking.

The Senior Leader, International Logistics will be a key stakeholder supporting the movement of goods from our network of partners around the world to our Distribution Centers, Home Delivery Centers, and Galleries in the United States and Europe. The scope of the responsibilities include, but are not limited to, ocean freight, air freight, intermodal rail, and trucking.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide strategic, tactical, and operational leadership to RH’s international supply chain
- Own cost, cycle time, service, and quality KPI’s for all ocean freight and port trucking providers
- Serve as a subject matter expert for internal cross-functional partners
- Facilitate annual ocean freight bid
- Communicate and partner closely with overseas vendors
- Utilize shipment data to manage and address exceptions in a timely manner
- Prepare and execute quarterly provider business reviews, drive corrective actions as needed
- Support key business initiatives such as global expansion
- Drive innovation and challenge the status quo in all areas of supply chain
- Facilitate partnerships between vendors, service providers, and cross-functional teams to ensure open, accurate, and timely communication flow and information sharing
- Responsible for RTV shipments and freight damage claims
- Additional projects and initiatives as needed
OUR REQUIREMENTS:

- 8-10+ years’ experience in import/export logistics environment
- Possess an exceptional sense of urgency
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Superior attention to detail
- Strong MS Excel and data analytics skills
- Understand freight forwarder, ocean carrier, air, sea and road logistics
- Familiar with customs procedures for imports and exports
- 5+ years in-depth experience with GT NEXUS platform
- Experience with freight payment software solutions
- Able to multi-task in an environment with rapidly shifting priorities
- Thrives working both independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams as needed
- College degree (preferred)
