Business Analyst (Senior)

At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As a BUSINESS ANALYST (SENIOR) supporting USDA, you will be trusted to engage with our client to tackle their most complex projects. In this role, a typical day will include:

  • Collaborating with USDA to sustain, enhance, and modernize agency systems and software applications.
  • Participates as needed in all phases of software development with emphasis on the planning, analysis, testing, integration, documentation, and presentation phases. Formulates/defines system scope and objectives.
  • Prepares detailed specifications for application configuration and programs. Assists in the design, development, testing, implementation, and documentation of new software and enhancements of existing applications. Ensures that the application designs meet business requirements.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

• 8 years of relevant experience as a Business Analyst, working in all phases of software development and providing detailed requirements, specifications, and documentation for modernization efforts.

• Experience working on large scale enterprise agile development teams and expertise using JIRA and Confluence.

• Experience outline and documenting programmatic, technical, and client business requirements

• Ability to decompose a technical problem into its sub-components, build a plan to tackle the challenge, and execute the plan.

• Experience engaging with multiple clients and thriving in a fast-paced work environment with multiple stakeholders.

• Preferred qualifications: Federal contracting experience, specifically with USDA

The likely salary range for this position is $102,000 - $138,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
