Teacher Assistant - General Education (3rd G)

Pay:  $16.60/hour  

Schedule:   Monday - Friday / 5.50 hours daily / Schedule TBD 

Please note GHAPS will complete the recruiting process but the employee will be onboarded by WMJ.        

Applicants for this position must meet the following criteria:

1. Must possess a high school diploma or its equivalent.  Must also meet requirements of  60 hours of study completed at a college/university; or Associate's (or higher) degree; or pass a competency test (Michigan Test for Teacher - Basic Skills Test or ETS ParaPro Test - Math, Reading and Writing tests).
2. Demonstrated ability to work positively with students.
3. Self directed with good organizational and communication skills.
4. Must have ability to follow through with prescribed behavioral management programs.
5. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in both a team and individual tutoring situation.
