About the role

Position Summary

The Financial Operations Coordinator is responsible for providing operational support to the finance team, processing and recording invoices, managing accounts payable and receivable tasks, and generating basic financial reports. The role supports data analysis, routine reconciliations, and maintains financial documents. They stay informed on company policies and procedures, maintain financial integrity, and support operational efficiency of the finance team.

What will your job entail?

Job Responsibilities:
• Coordinates operations across finance teams and supports with administrative tasks ensuring adherence to internal and global accounting policies and procedures.
• Processes and records invoices, payments, and other financial transactions in designated systems and categorizes scanned documents using software.
• Assists with the preparation of monthly and quarterly reports under supervision.
• Supports routine reconciliations between different financial accounts and organizes financial documents according to filing systems and retention policies.
• Administers and maintains financial records, reconciles bank statements and supports accounts payable and receivable tasks as per established procedures.
• Supports the annual audit process and provides detailed tax-related information monthly or as requested by the business.
• Coordinates the preparation of journal entries related to amortizations, general operating expenses, corporate credit card expenses, and expense accruals across finance teams.
• Provides requirements to Vendor Management and Legal teams for vendor creation or modification in the Accounts Payable system.
• Responds to basic inquiries from internal and external stakeholders regarding financial transactions and assists with budgeting and forecasting activities as directed.
• Prepares expense reports and ensures compliance with company policies and performs other administrative tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Work Experience and Education:
• Bachelor’s degree required; Business Operations, Finance, and Risk Management preferred. Any other related discipline or commensurate work experience considered.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Finance or Operations is preferred.
