Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to become the financial backbone of a growing restaurant operation, where you’ll leverage your expertise in QuickBooks and restaurant technology to ensure pristine financial accuracy. You’ll work with modern systems including Toast POS integration and manage complex reconciliation processes across multiple delivery platforms, making you an essential part of the restaurant’s continued success. The role offers the perfect blend of detailed bookkeeping work and restaurant industry specialization, with opportunities for professional growth as the business expands.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks with precision and attention to detail
  
• Execute monthly account reconciliations to ensure financial integrity
  
• Master GL coding from Toast POS system integrations for seamless data flow
  
• Reconcile sales data between Toast POS and QuickBooks using Extra Chef app
  
• Balance third-party delivery reports (Uber Eats, DoorDash) with Toast sales data
  
• Generate insightful profit and loss statements and cost analysis reports
  
• Track and monitor payroll expenses, food costs, and operational expenditures
  
• Process invoices and perform comprehensive data entry tasks
  
• Clean up and organize historical financial records for improved accuracy
  
• Ensure data consistency across all integrated restaurant management systems
  

Requirements

• Proven proficiency in QuickBooks bookkeeping and financial management
  
• Hands-on experience with restaurant industry accounting practices and operations
  
• Working knowledge of Toast POS system and its various integrations
  
• Strong understanding of GL coding and chart of accounts configuration
  
• Experience reconciling third-party delivery platform financial data
  
• Exceptional attention to detail with accuracy in all data entry tasks
  
• Ability to work independently while managing time effectively in a remote environment
  
• Background in restaurant-specific financial reporting and analysis
  
• Comfortable working Central Time hours to align with restaurant operations
  
• Ready to start part-time with flexibility to grow into full-time role
