About this role:

As an Advanced Practice Provider in our primary care clinic, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience.  In this role you will see approximately 24 patients per day for annual wellness checks, identification and treatment of chronic conditions, diagnostic testing, laboratory services and immunizations.

  • You will practice at Sunset Primary Care Clinic in Southwest Las Vegas
  • Your hours will be 4 10-hour shifts or 5 8-hour shifts during clinic hours of Monday through Friday, 8 am-5 pm
  • No call required

What you’ll bring:

  • Unrestricted Nevada NP or PA license
  • Current Nevada DEA certificate required prior to start date
  • Current Nevada Pharmacy Board license required prior to start date
  • Current BLS
  • A minimum of two years of experience in Primary Care as an APP

Physical Requirements:

Ongoing need for employee to see and read information, labels, assess patient needs, operate monitors, identify equipment and supplies.

Frequent interactions with patient care providers, patients, and visitors that require employee to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information, alarms, needs, and issues quickly and accurately, particularly during emergency situations.

Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy. This includes frequent computer use and typing for documenting patient care, accessing needed information, medication preparation, etc.

Expected to lift and utilize full range of movement to transfer patients. Will also bend to retrieve, lift, and carry supplies and equipment. Typically includes items of varying weights, up to and including heavy items.
