Integrated Services for Behavioral Health (ISBH) is a community-minded, forward-thinking behavioral health organization helping people along the road to health and well-being. We meet people in their homes and communities and help connect them to the resources they need. We serve Southeastern and Central Ohio with a comprehensive array of behavioral health and other services – working with local partners to promote healthy people and strong communities. All of our services are intended to be collaborative and personalized for the individual.
Groundwork Residences is a Level II Recovery Housing program owned and operated by Integrated Services for Behavioral Health and certified by Ohio Recovery Housing. Groundwork provides safe, stable housing for women in recovery from substance use and their children.
Essential Functions:

Provides support in the recovery home(s) at key times.

Mornings: to assist with structuring daytime activities, finalizing weekly schedules.

During blocked time on specific days as assigned, to offer support and assistance with care coordination and resource access to assist with larger Integrated Care Plan goals.

Evenings: ensures curfew is met and assists with evening/nighttime routine.

Evenings: checks off daily resident chores and inspects home regularly for cleanliness.

Weekly: facilitates mandatory resident meeting.

Provides recovery support education via modeling and direct peer support.

Helps coordinate and support meeting attendance.

Encourages peer’s engagement and coordinates engagement in recovery activities, community activities, and school functions.

Assists residents with “self-case-management" (i.e. printing and accessing resources from the computer workstation in the home).

Assists residents with basic life skills development (planning, paying bills, making appointments, coordinating with CBHW, structuring time, etc.).

Assists with acquiring supportive pieces to overarching Community Behavioral Health goals as outlined in ICP (maintaining basic needs/benefits, coordinating children s) care and appointments, searching for employment, managing important documents such as housing verifications, identifying documents, etc..).

Assists residents with building a support system and recovery plan by providing direct accountability, advocacy and support.

Mediates crisis, personality conflicts, and household issues on a preliminary basis to prevent larger issues with household dynamics.

Assists with move-in and move-out for residents/children and provides direct site-orientation.

Organizes and facilitates regular resident meetings and provides meeting oversight and mediation as necessary.
- Carries out utilization review and quality assurance activities as directed.
- Maintains necessary documentation, participates in program evaluation, attends team and program planning meetings, cross-systems training, and acquires knowledge of community resources.
- Meets billing productivity requirements established by Integrated Services for Behavioral Health.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Certified as an Ohio Peer Recovery Supporter.
- Experience providing peer support preferred.
- Demonstrated a high degree of cultural awareness.
- Experience with multi-need individuals and families.
- Broad knowledge of community service systems.
