Job Purpose:
Provides learning and development process and program management for employee development initiatives, as well as facilitation of business and leadership skills related learning programs both in-person and virtually across our global organization.
What Will You Do?
In order to grow and build a successful career with The Toro Company, you will be responsible for the following responsibilities:
Project manages new and existing learning programs and projects (e.g., high-potential leadership programs, Internal Education Series, online learning resources, new hire orientation, etc.) to include project planning, change management, marketing and communications development, administration, liaison with vendors, and employee support
Consults and advises senior manager, learning, development and engagement in instructional design, course authoring, marketing, and materials development for learning topics for office and production workforce
Delivers and facilitates training content to employees using a variety of training techniques, strong classroom management skills, and a collaborative approach
Manages vendor relationships for learning consultants, to include services negotiation, contracting, status updates, reporting, and understanding future offerings
Assists the manager, learning, development and engagement in annual budgeting and strategic planning process for Learning function
Communicates cross-functionally with HR business partners, legal, IT, and business leaders across the company; provides some guidance and support to other functions on targeted learning initiatives
Partners with Learning Management System (LMS) administrators to identify functionality needs in LMS
Performs other duties and projects as requested
What Do You Need?
To be considered for this opportunity, an individual should meet these minimum qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in relevant field (HR, Human Resource Development, Instructional Design)
Minimum of 6 years relevant experience required
General knowledge of key principles and practices of learning and development including adult learning principles, instructional design, and facilitation techniques
Prior instructional design and facilitation experience desired
Prior experience with learning technologies <
