We are looking to fill the Clinical Director leadership role (LMSW or LPC) at a rapidly expanding Outpatient Mental Health practice in Clinton Township, Michigan.

The ideal candidate will:
  • Be looking to leverage their experience and ideas to grow an established OMHC
  • Be a self-starter comfortable working in a high-paced and changing start-up clinic environment.
  • Foster an environment of collaboration and clinical growth among the staff
  • Have a minimum of 3 years of experience working in a fee-for-service private practice clinical leadership role.
  • Have experience providing oversight to 8-10 direct reports
  • Be comfortable balancing a patient load and administrative responsibilities.
  • Be looking for long-term stability and growth with a locally based company.
  • Thrive in a performance-based compensation environment.
Required Skills/Abilities
  • Master’s degree with current Maryland state licensure as an LMSW or LPC and be a Michigan Board Approved Supervisor.
  • Be available to be on-site to provide facetime with clinical staff and see patients.
  • Passionate about quality evidence-based treatment and contributing to the field by training and supervising others.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong working knowledge of state requirements regulating mental health practice.
  • Excellent time management skills.
Preferred Skills/Abilities
  • Currently working in local Clinton Township, Michigan submarket.
  • Currently credentialed with multiple insurances including Optum, BCBS MI, CIGNA, and Aetna. 
Tasks & ResponsibilitiesHiring, Training, and Staff Management
  • Provide all training for clinic new hires, ensuring all required clinical and operational policies and procedures are taught and followed.
  • Hold staff accountable to meeting performance expectations.
  • Manage staff performance, including implement Performance Coaching, Performance Improvement Plans, and termination process as needed.
  • Create an office culture that fosters collaboration, inclusion and growth.
Supervision and Consultation
  • Responsible for the overall performance and management of clinical site
  • Accountable for clinic productivity and performance, using data to monitor and drive decisions
  • Provide clinical oversight to the clinic’s Mental Health Practitioners and Professionals, including signing clinical documentation for pre-licensed providers.
  • Provide 1:1 consultation with all therapy staff to review productivity, caseload, and clinical documentation


  Compensation: $116,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year
