What You’ll Do
As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll be part of our Infrastructure team located in Dexter, MI. You’ll get to:  
*1.  Lay-out, install, and maintain a variety of complex and simple electrical equipment; completes wiring for motors, switches, switchboards, and electrical mechanisms. Troubleshoot electrical equipment with & without diagrams/prints

*2.  Installs and maintains a variety of machine tools such as; Winders, Ring Machines, Extrusion Line Equipment, CNC Punch Plasma, CNC Turning & Burn Table, Lasers.  Overhead Cranes/Hoists and Controls, Robotic Welding and Automation Equipment.
*3.  Lead/Assist in construction of machines for manufacturing production. Installing compressed air & Argon gas supply lines. Work with Rigging, Electrical or Machine Manufacturer contractors.

*4.  Timely diagnosis and remedy of all electrical problems to avoid production delays.

*5.  Troubleshoots machines for necessary repairs; tear down and re-assemble machines; test for proper function.


*6.  Understand and perform, if necessary, paperwork and computer transactions. Research parts needed for repairs using Owner’s Manual as well internet. Research alternative parts for obsolete or unavailable repair parts.

*7.  Follow company safety practices and procedures to provide a safe work environment for all employees.
*8. Effectively communicate with other Technicians as well as management.
*9. Respond and mitigate emergency Facility issues. Fire Suppression System, Water/Pipe Leaks, Roof Leaks, Door Alarms etc.
*10. Available for rotational overtime to perform repairs and preventative maintenance outside of production.
Who You Are

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years’ experience operating forklift
• Trained in Lock out/Tag Out Process
• Certified Lift Truck, Scissor Lift, Boom Lift
• Trained in Arc Flash Procedure/Process
• Trained in Overhead Hoist/Crane Operation
