Pay Scale: $16-$17hr.

Summary: Responsible for providing support and care to meet the physical and psychological needs of consumers through providing direct and indirect care in PSR setting.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provides supervision, recovery skills interventions and monitoring of each consumer.  Assist with and model appropriate daily living skills
• Document treatment progress of consumers which reflect treatment goals; document any reported or observed symptoms of consumers and report to the team.
• Participate in treatment team
• Provide Transportation
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

Special Attributes:  Strong interpersonal skills and belief in consumer’s ability to recovery.  Minimal supervision regarding use of time, able to prioritize work assignments.  Ability to communicate effectively with professionals and clients/families.  Ability to make sound decisions in emergency situations.  A desire to work with individuals with severe persistent mental illness and substance abuse issues.

Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent (Mandatory), AA degree and 2 years’ experience or a BS or BA degree and 1 year experience (Preferred).  Must be 18 years of age and proficient in reading, speaking and writing.
