 We are Looking for: 

A strategic and forward-thinking Director of Coding Innovation & RCM Systems to lead the design, development, and integration of our next-generation coding workflow automation platform, Coder+. This role will drive innovation at the intersection of clinical coding, automation, and revenue cycle management by aligning technology initiatives with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and deployment of Coder+, an advanced coding workflow automation platform that improves efficiency, compliance, and accuracy.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with IT, Compliance, and Revenue Cycle leadership to ensure Coder+ meets enterprise requirements.
• Manage technical teams and vendor partnerships, including internal engineers or third-party development firms, to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.
• Own project scope, timeline, and budget, ensuring successful implementation from concept to go-live.
• Evaluate and integrate automation tools, including AI-assisted coding technologies, to enhance coding productivity and accuracy.
• Monitor performance metrics, user adoption, and compliance standards post-implementation, and iterate improvements as needed.

Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive experience in medical billing, coding, and automation systems.
• Strong understanding of RCM systems including Epic, athenahealth, eClinicalWorks (eCW), or equivalent platforms.
• Proven experience leading system implementation or platform development projects in a healthcare environment.
• Deep understanding of coding workflows, compliance standards (e.g., ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS), and RCM best practices.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders.
• PMP certification or equivalent project management experience preferred.
• Experience with AI or machine learning applications in coding or healthcare is a plus.
