Diesel Mechanic - Advanced

Check out more below:&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Accrue 104 hours of PTO in your first year!</li> <li>Competitive benefits that include medical, dental, vision, and matching 401k, along with other cool perks programs including student loan payments, discounts on vehicles, benefits for your pets, and much more.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p>We’re looking for motivated team players with <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>at least 3 years of experience working with heavy equipment</strong></span> to:&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Diagnose (using diagnostic equipment) and perform general, preventative maintenance, and DVIR for all heavy equipment.</li> <li>Perform scheduled repairs and resolve issues uncovered during inspection including changing brakes, adjusting steering systems, replacing parts, fixing complex electrical issues, changing hydraulic components, and changing tires according to TIA guidelines.&nbsp;</li> <li>Use welders, torches, and plasma cutters to weld or fabricate broken parts.</li> <li>Maintain accurate and proper records for all repairs performed on our fleet using our software (including parts records).&nbsp;</li> <li>Use diagnostic equipment to pull fault codes and follow OEM diagnose trees to accurately diagnose equipment.</li> </ul> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>General qualifications and requirements include:</strong></span></p> <ul> <li>3+ years experience in Heavy Class 8 Mechanical Industry or a similar industry.&nbsp;</li> <li>Valid Driver’s License.&nbsp;</li> <li>Obtain at least two ASE Certification within the first 6 months of employment (process sponsored by Carvana).&nbsp;</li> <li>Must have your own tools to complete daily tasks, specialty tools will be provided by Carvana.</li> <li>Requires standing for extended periods of time with frequent stretching, reaching, walking and stooping, pushing and/or pulling in an environment that may be cold, hot, noisy, and wet and may have fumes or odors due
