Summary of Job Duties:
**This position is located in Jonesboro, AR**The Director of Education is responsible for the strategic leadership, academic curriculum oversight, clinical services alignment, and day-to-day operations of the education section at the two regional Centers on Aging in Northeast and East Arkansas. Reporting directly to the Director of the UAMS Centers on Aging, this individual provides executive and clinical direction for the development, implementation, and evaluation of multi-tiered education programs. These programs serve the general public, older adults, family caregivers, healthcare professionals, paraprofessionals, and students across health and social service disciplines.
As an advanced-degree clinician with medical billing credentials, this position plays a critical role in regional sustainability and clinical service delivery. The regional Director of Education will oversee a revenue-generating clinical education structure, utilizing active healthcare licensure to directly deliver and bill for patient-family counseling, navigation services, and clinical intervention
