The Engine Additives Americas business comprises products formulated for heavy duty diesel and other large commercial engines, passenger car engines and small engines including power tools, motorcycles, and other recreational equipment in North and South America. The portfolio is diverse and is Lubrizol’s largest volume business. A strong technology team is vital to Lubrizol’s success, and we currently have a Data Project Specialist position open in Wickliffe, Ohio.
Lubrizol supports an extensive range of clients and Original Equipment Manufacturers across the globe. We are recruiting an ambitious Data/Project Specialist to start building their career within technical project management. The primary purpose of the role is to support Deployment Managers by ensuring projects run to agreed timelines, budget, and quality standards. Job Responsibilities include:
- Expert support of deployment activities and ownership of the user end of Lubrizol systems that support product deployment
- Maintenance of deployment systems and forms
- Supports customer programs for engine oil applications
- Effectively plan and schedule testing and manage data to achieve approval against industry specifications
- Accurately organizes data and information according to procedures
- Regularly updates internal project partners and peers
- Works on processes and procedures - recognizes problems, communicates to others, and participates in solutions
- Performs tasks and communicates results on well-defined projects with narrow scope
- Manages concurrent activities efficiently
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field
- Accurate data entry and data manipulation skills to develop reports and summarize information
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft office applications
- Experience providing technical support
- Ability to work effectively in multifunctional teams
- Working knowledge of procedures and quality systems
- Basic knowledge, or aptitude to develop knowledge, of LZ technology, products, nomenclature, and tests
Considered a Plus
- Familiarity with PowerBI
- Familiarity with SAP
