Where the chemistry happens…
As a valued member of the White Stone team, we are seeking a professional like you to drive our instrument and electrical maintenance by using the most appropriate and effective tools and techniques. You will provide technical field support to Maintenance personnel, participate in Root Cause Failure Analyses, and help drive our instrumentation spares strategy and optimization of Preventative and Predictive programs. You will collaborate with Production and Maintenance personnel and provide services related to design, review, repair, and maintenance, including predictive/preventative maintenance activities. You will also ensure a culture of continuous improvement employing LEAN Manufacturing tools.

- Providing technical expertise, guidance, advanced troubleshooting support and recommendations to operating units on instrumentation and electrical and equipment maintenance, reliability, repair, and replacement including emergency work reviews and turnaround support.
- Your background in optimization of equipment, PM activities and strategies, and knowledge and experience will serve you well as you provide technical guidance in this position.
- Guiding supervisors, technicians, contractors, craftsmen and other maintenance personnel on challenging preventive maintenance and complex repair activities
- Contributing in process hazard analysis reviews and other capital project reviews and providing technical support to capital projects engineering design, construction execution, commissioning, and start-up activities to ensure that installed instrumentation, electrical and controls equipment meet all regulatory, BASF, site requirements.
- Participating on accident / incident investigations and Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA), executing corrective actions for complex and / or repetitive problems and initiate and / or modify predictive and preventive maintenance programs as necessary.
- Assisting in the design, factory acceptance tests, installation, site acceptance tests, commissioning, operations, maintenance, and periodic function tests of Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS) and associated instrumentation, valves, and electrical equipment.
- Driving improvements throughout the site by optimizing costs and improving Asset Effectiveness (e.g. Bad Actor Program; FMEA; RBI; RBM; RCM; Reliability Roadmap etc.)
- Your ability to communicate effectively with facts and figures, along with the ability to influence, persuade, and negotiate will be vital in this role.
If you...
- Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering field (Electrical preferred) and at least 3 years of overall experience
- Have knowledge of Maintenance, Operations and Engineering activities in a chemical or manufacturing environment
- Have knowledge of instrument and electrical standards applicable to the chemical industry
- Ability to work in a team environment, driving continuous improvement, establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with all departments at the
