Are you ready to jump onboard?</p> <p> </p> <p>We are now looking for a Senior Service Engineer, E&amp;A to join our team.</p> <p>The primary location for this position is Gdansk.</p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p>As a Senior Service Engineer E&amp;A, your responsibilities for the role include: </p> <p> </p> <ul> <li>Ships, offshore and onshore installations service and commissioning  </li> <li>4-stroke engine automation and control systems, speed governors, engine auxiliary systems  </li> <li>Power generation and distribution switchboards  </li> <li>LNG installations  </li> <li>Propulsion control systems  </li> <li>PLC automation systems  </li> <li>Hybrid systems, energy battery storage, variable frequency drives </li> </ul> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p> To be successful in this role, we expect you have: </p> <p> </p> <ul> <li>B.Sc or M.Sc in Electrical Engineering or relevant educational background with years of experience </li> <li>Knowledge of 4-stroke engine automation and control systems, speed governors, propulsion control systems, generators, and switchboards </li> <li>Good command of English and Polish, both verbal and written</li> <li>Readiness to travel worldwide</li> <li>Availability for overtime and work on short notice </li> <li>Good communication- and interpersonal skills</li> <li>Ability to work both individually and as a team player</li> <li>Entrepreneurial- and organizational skills </li> <li>Driving license / B.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p>Why you and us </p> <p> </p> <p>We at Wärtsilä believe in empowerment, ownership and taking responsibility of our work.
