About the role

Bi-lingual candidates preferred.

This is not a sales position; our coaches host pre-scheduled appointments with members.

We’re searching for financial professionals who have a passion for helping people achieve their financial goals. We provide full-spectrum financial coaching and education, and we are specifically interested in CFPs or similar to coach in the areas of retirement and investments.

This might be a good fit for you if

• You care about building vibrant and encouraging relationships with members
• Your deep conviction in the benefits of financial coaching compels you to lead clients to invest in an ongoing relationship 
• You have a knack for making financial concepts easy to understand
• You research complex issues to develop innovative strategies
• You have masterful verbal and written communication skills
• You enjoy fast pace, can multi-task, and take detailed notes
• Flexible and available to work a varied schedule from Monday to Friday between 4:00 am and 7:00 pm PT, with availability to work one weekend a month.

To be successful with us you must have

• 5+ years experience in consumer finance or tax work (mortgages, insurance, college planning, financial aid, investments, retirement planning, estate planning, tax structuring and planning, etc.)
• AFC, CFP, ChFC certifications (required)
• 4-year degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience
• Proven track record persuading clients to engage or upgrade to value-added services and solutions
• Motivational skills to inspire behavioral change around personal financial habits
• Superlative listening skills that lead you to empathy and understanding
• A high level of comfort with computers, software, and technology
• An openness to a culture of continuous development
• A passion for helping people in need
• Previous military experience or experience supporting military service members (preferred)
• Due to the nature of the contract we are hiring for, U.S. Citizenship is required for this specific role.
