Job Title: Cook

Job Description: Ridgeway Post Acute is currently seeking a talented and experienced Cook to join our culinary team. The Cook will be responsible for preparing and cooking delicious and nutritious meals for our residents, adhering to all dietary guidelines and restrictions while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus, ensuring that all dietary guidelines and restrictions are followed
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, following all safety and sanitation procedures
• Monitor food supplies and ingredients, ordering and restocking as needed
• Collaborate with dietary staff to develop menus and meal plans that meet the nutritional needs and preferences of our residents
• Ensure that food is prepared and served in a timely manner, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation
• Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines, including proper food storage and handling procedures

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Cook in a healthcare or senior living setting preferred
• Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and methods
• Ability to follow recipes and dietary guidelines accurately
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Culinary certification or degree preferred
