Student Intern- Engineering

Core Responsibilities: 

• Working directly with Manufacturing Engineers on various assignments
• Generating standardized manufacturing routing instructions.
• Creating manufacturing work instruction redlines.
• Resolving product non-conformance, coordinating with the disposition and translating resolution into manufacturing order rework instructions.
• Supporting implementation of process improvement initiatives aimed at improving cost, schedule and quality.
• Tooling design modifications for improved production efficiency
• Generating Inspection work instructions
• Generating inspection reports for customer review
• Reviewing OEM technical data revision status
• Uploading documents into business online technical library
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications: 

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
•  Ability to work in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to schedule and organize time and tasks effectively
• Ability to work in a challenging and schedule driven environment
• Previous experience working with power/hand tools and measurement devices a plus
•  CAD experience a plus
• Experience with MS Office preferred

Education Requirements:

·         Enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited university.

·         Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, or related.
