Position Overview We invite you to join our dynamic team as a Licensed Physical Therapist within TheraSense Movement Rehab & Wellness Center, located in the heart of Los Angeles, California. About the Organization TheraSense Movement Rehab & Wellness Center is a leading rehabilitation facility specializing in orthopedic outpatient therapy. Our state-of-the-art facility, spanning over 5,000 square feet, is designed specifically for sports medicine and rehabilitation, providing high-quality care in a supportive environment. Our practice is proudly operated and run by licensed physical therapist owners, ensuring a strong commitment to exceptional patient care and ethical practice. We primarily serve individuals with private medical insurance, allowing for focused, personalized treatment plans without the constraints often found in larger health systems. Work Environment The physical therapist will work in a collaborative, onsite environment alongside a dedicated team of two other physical therapists and a licensed physical therapy assistant. Regular interaction with healthcare specialists, including nutritionists, occupational therapists, and orthopedic surgeons, fosters a holistic approach to patient care. Your standard work hours will be Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a balanced schedule that promotes both personal well-being and professional engagement. Key Responsibilities Perform comprehensive assessments to determine individual patient needs and establish clear, achievable goals. Manage a patient caseload, dedicating approximately one hour to each individual, ensuring focused attention and personalized therapy sessions. Design and implement effective treatment plans utilizing various modalities and techniques aimed at improving range of motion and functional mobility. Engage with patients in therapeutic exercise regimens, fostering improvements in strength, flexibility, and balance. Utilize manual therapy techniques as appropriate to reduce pain and enhance healing. Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver coordinated and comprehensive care. Document all patient interactions and progress thoroughly within EMR systems, particularly leveraging WebPT. Encourage a proactive approach toward healthcare, inspiring patients to incorporate physical fitness and wellness into their daily routines. Patient Population / Client Focus Your clinical expertise will cater to a diverse patient demographic, primarily focusing on adults and athletes recovering from orthopedic injuries. With a commitment to patient-centered care, you will address the individual health challenges faced by patients, guiding them in achieving not only recovery but a lifestyle that promotes ongoing wellness and physical activity. Qualifications A Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution, with a strong understanding of orthopedic physical therapy. A valid California license to practice as a Physical Therapist, ensuring compliance with state regulations and standards. An unblemished professional record, free of any disciplinary actions associated with your licensure. Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the development of personalized exercise protocols. Ability to efficiently integrate electronic medical records systems, with specific experience in WebPT. Preferred Experience Prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable. Experience in developing comprehensive wellness programs tailored to individual patient needs. Strong communication skills for effective patient education and motivation. Compensation and Benefits The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, accompanied by a generous benefits package.
