People Experience Generalist

About the Role:

As a People Experience Generalist at Stream Data Centers, you will play a key role in creating a positive and engaging employee experience. You will be responsible for overseeing various PX functions, including recruitment and onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and employee engagement initiatives. Your main goal will be to create and maintain a supportive and inclusive work environment that fosters employee growth and satisfaction.

This position is 100% remote and would be preferred in the following local markets: Chicago, Dallas, San Antonio and Phoenix. Travel is expected to be between 20-30% to regional data center site across the U.S. as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Handle employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance improvement plans
• Develop and deliver employee training programs, workshops, and initiatives in partnership with Learning & Development
• Conduct employee orientations and facilitate onboarding process
• Manage HRIS system and maintain accurate employee records

• Partner with management to understand and support their talent needs and objectives
• Execute full-cycle recruitment efforts, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding of candidates
• Implement and monitor employee performance management processes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote employee engagement and retention
• Stay up-to-date with employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance
• DEI programs and incentives champion

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in HR, preferably in a generalist or similar role
• Knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws
• Data Center, Construction, Oil & Gas or other mission critical environment required, 2+ years minimum
• Experience with full-cycle recruitment processes
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Proficiency in HRIS systems and MS Office
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• HR certifications (e.g. PHR, SHRM-CP) are a plus
• Up to 30% travel may be required

The pay range for this role is between $90,000 - $130,000 (base) depending on location and experience. Stream Data Centers offers annual bonus, benefits, flexible time off (vacation), 401k and a variety of other perks and benefits.
