The School of Science and Mathematics seeks a Biology Laboratory Instructor for the 2025-2026 academic year. This position is a full-time, 1560-hours, staff position approved for one academic year.
The individual filling this position will work under the direction of Biology faculty to provide instructional and physical support in Anatomy and Physiology I & II and other Biology courses as needed. Responsibilities include laboratory instruction, laboratory setup and teardown, laboratory supplies inventory, grading student papers, gradebook management, and recruitment and training for student graders.
This position is subject to the University's verification of credentials along with other information required by law and Cedarville University policies, including the successful completion of a background check. This position is pending budget approval.
Position Requirements:
• B.A. or B.S. Degree in Biology or a related field
• Experience with presentation, word processing, database, and spreadsheet software
• Familiarity with scientific laboratory techniques in academic or industrial settings
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.
