The Manager, Global Benefits and Wellness is responsible for assisting with the administration of all global benefits and retirement programs, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, wellness programs, and 401(k) plan. This position will be a hybrid role, providing flexibility to work from the office and from home.

Responsibilities
- Process and monitor state-specific benefits and/or leaves to ensure compliance with state and local regulations.
- Reviews and analyzes the benefits market to determine employee needs, trends, regulations, and practices, and develops competitive programs and services to meet company goals.
- Performs quality checks of benefits-related data.
- Work with insurance broker to enroll employees with carriers and process life status changes.
- Directs support functions in providing customer service, information records, claims, etc.
- Work with insurance broker to respond to benefits inquiries from managers and employees on plan provisions, benefits enrollments, status changes, and other general inquiries.
- Responds to 401(k) inquiries from managers and employees relating to enrollments, plan changes, and contribution amounts. Manages the annual catch-up contribution enrollment.
- Oversees and assists with the open enrollment process.
- Creatively think about employee well-being and inclusion and proactively identify opportunities to better serve the workforce with a suite of benefits offerings that align with the organization’s values.
- Act as project manager for benefits for all acquisitions; including integration of newly acquired businesses and employees into current benefits, ensuring continuity of care and coverage is established.
- Provides necessary reports for allocation/billing charges.
- Communicates policy and procedure changes to employees, HRBPs, vendors, and others
Qualifications
- Knowledge of global benefits, wellness, and benefits plan design experience
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance
- Excellent communication skills
- Highly organized, analytical, and ability to solve problems
- Strong written and verbal communication.
- Extensive knowledge of employee benefits, broker relationships, and applicable laws.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in HR or related field, or equivalent experience and/or other training/certification may be substituted for the education required.
- 8+ years experience in HR and/or benefits administration required.
- SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification credential is preferred.
