Compensation: $20.00 / hour
Description
The Position of Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for supervising maintenance employees and providing direction for completing each project and adhering to deadlines.Key Responsibilities
- Providing supplies and materials as necessary for the maintenance employees to complete tasks
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of timecards, work orders and other internal documents.
- Continual inspection of maintenance employee work area, materials and supplies and equipment to ensure that proper functional standards are maintained safely at all times
- Ensuring that maintenance department standards, including proper attire and grooming, are maintained at all times
- Continually evaluate department expenses and staffing costs to reflect accurately the goals and objectives of the department
- Ensure that all work orders, sign orders, garbage schedules, landscaping schedules and spray and lighting schedules are filed with the appropriate costing categories.
- Oversee the operations of the cleaning department
- Inspect lots on a regular basis to ensure that they are safe and operating at company standards; take every opportunity to create work orders on charge out lots; ensure maintenance is carried out
- Other duties as may be assigned
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Ability to successfully manage and train other employees
- Strong computer skills required, including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently, in a team and meet deadlines
- Strong analytical skills with an ability to balance multiple projects in a fast paced environment
- Valid driver’s license, access to own vehicle, and clean driving record
- Ability to develop effective working relationships with internal and external parties
- Bachelor’s Degree (3-4 yr)
- Experience managing and training a large team of employees including managers with supervisory responsibilities
- Parking management experience
- Business development experience
- Experience planning and achieving an annual operating plan
