Food Service Associate

Description

We are looking for a dedicated Food Service Associate to perform a variety of tasks related to food preparation and service in different food service environments. Responsibilities include preparing hot and cold foods, assisting with bakery item preparation, and maintaining cleanliness in work areas, equipment, and utensils. The role may also involve setting up and serving food, cashiering, and managing trash collection as needed. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills and a commitment to maintaining a clean and efficient work environment.

Requirements

Responsibilities 

· Set up food service, kitchen, or prep areas, including equipment and utensils, according to specific area needs and detailed instructions; check food temperatures and prepare areas for daily operations. May operate cooking or bakery equipment as assigned.

· Convey food and supplies from the main kitchen, bakery, or food preparation area to the serving site, either by carrying or utilizing a motorized cart.

· Follow prescribed procedures to set up hot and cold food lines, ice cream, yogurt, and/or ice machines, selecting the appropriate utensils and ensuring they are set to the proper temperature for menu items.
