You drive high-quality data generation at the bench while supporting scientific project delivery across modalities (small molecules, biologics, glue degraders, PROTACs, siRNA). <h3><strong><span>YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES</span></strong></h3>
<p> </p>
<ul>
<li><span>Design, execute, and troubleshoot biochemical and biophysical assays to characterize proteins, with a strong focus on interaction analysis, quality control, and mechanism-of-action studies</span></li>
<li><span>Design and execute protein mass spectrometry workflows (intact mass analysis, peptide mapping, characterization of post-translational modifications and sequence variants) and integrate the data into project decisions</span></li>
<li><span>Plan, run, and analyze label-free binding experiments on SPR platforms (e.g., Biacore, Carterra), including kinetic, affinity, and epitope-binning/competition studies</span></li>
<li><span>Develop and validate fit-for-purpose biochemical and biophysical assays to support screening, hit validation, and lead optimization</span></li>
<li><span>Interpret complex datasets, present results and recommendations, and partner closely with discovery colleagues to embed biophysical insights into decision-making</span></li>
<li><span>Contribute to lab organization, platform ownership and maintenance (including MS and SPR), and continuous workflow improvements, including automation and high-throughput opportunities</span></li>
<li><span>Collaborate with highly skilled research associates and scientists across levels and interface with cross-functional teams (e.g., structural biology, protein engineering, chemical biology, in vitro assays)</span></li>
<li><span>Contribute to the digital agenda by optimizing workflows and generating/analyzing data to enable in silico experimentation and machine learning</span></li>
<li><span>take accountability in cross-functional teams across the discovery value chain in line with timelines and budget</span></li>

<h3><strong><span>WHO YOU ARE</span></strong></h3>
<p> </p>
<ul>
<li><span>Hold a PhD in biochemistry, biophysics, biotechnology, or a related discipline, ideally complemented by relevant industry experience (biotech/pharma, CRO, or academic collaboration)</span></li>
<li><span>Bring hands-on experience in protein mass spectrometry (e.g., intact mass, peptide mapping, PTM profiling) and familiarity with relevant data-analysis software</span></li>
<li><span>Stand out with demonstrated hands-on experience in biophysical methods for biomolecular interactions, especially SPR; experience with MST, ITC, DSF, or BLI is a strong plus</span></li>
<li><span>Have a solid foundation in protein biochemistry, including purification and quantitative analysis of recombinant proteins and approaches to understand protein structure, properties, and function</span></li>
<li><span>Demonstrate strong data analysis capabilities and the ability to translate experimental results into clear, project-relevant conclusions</span></li>
<li><span>Bring exposure to high-throughput and/or automated workflows for biophysical, biochemical, and MS-based assays</span></li>
<li><span>Have exposure to biologics or protein-based therapeutics (e.g., antibodies, Fc-fusion proteins) and feel confident working in a modality-agnostic discovery environment; deep biologics discovery experience is a plus</span></li>
<li><span>Combine excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills with high learning agility and strong self-organization</span></li>
<li><span>Fluent in English, both written and spoken, with strong communication and presentation skills</span></li>
