Each and every team member plays a vital role in our success. We are rapidly expanding and looking for a professional, self-motivated individual to fill the role of Warehouse Returns Supervisor.

 

Responsibilities

The Warehouse Returns Supervisor responsibilities are helping, guiding, and directing staff members in an efficient and timely manner. As well as problem solving.The Supervisor will work with process product returns, work with warehouse personnel for all other needed responsibilities and High-volume, fast-paced working environment. The Warehouse Returns Supervisor will answer questions, inputaccurate return information on customer accounts and perform general warehouse duties, and warehouse cleanup.

 

  • Maintain a high level of receiving productivity and efficiency
  • Taking ownership for achieving department goals; monitoring all daily reports
  • Ensuring that team members workload is managed appropriately
  • Ensuring team members/leads follow proper procedures, and that safety, productivity and quality goalsare achieved
  • Managing employee relations issues, to include coaching, counseling and corrective action
  • Assisting in the training of new associates
  • Setting the tone in the department for delivering exceptional customer service
  • Maintaining excellent cross-functional and interdepartmental communication
  • Directs and oversees the Returns process of sorting, packing, and processing to meet customer deadlines
  • Assist Returns Manager to help navigate and prioritize returns
  • Assist the Returns Manager in scheduling, monitoring, training, and discipline of department staffmembers
  • Routinely conduct department meetings
  • Monitor customers returns and emails frequently to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Keep work areas clean and clear of safety hazards
  • Other various duties will be assigned by the department Manager

Staff Management:

  • Lead and supervise a team of returns associates 
  • Counsels, records and discipline returns associates as necessary

Supervise Operations: 

  • Maintain a meticulous standard for cleanliness, organization, and safety throughout the receiving department.
  • Maintain a safe working environment. 
  • Ensure that safety and compliance practices meet DOT and OSHA standards
  • Maintain 5S warehouse principles are administered and followed on a routine basis
  • Directs movement of shipments from shipping and receiving platform to storage and work areas.
