About the role

Work Flexibility: Onsite

Schedule: Tuesday-Friday, 6:00am-4:30pm

Overtime may be required to support business needs

What you will do:

As a Senior Test Technician, you will provide technical support on a variety of quality tests following appropriate standard practices, to support Stryker's Emergency Care products and team. Additionally, in this role you will:

  • Build and test mechanical models, electrical circuits and assemblies, software, and/or perform basic analyses requiring knowledge of scientific and/or laboratory techniques
  • Provide technical evaluations of events to determine root cause
  • Recommend corrective action and communicate feedback for improvement
  • Develop procedures and methods and prepare technical reports, quality evaluations, and documentation
  • Troubleshoot and fault isolate equipment
  • Document and record test data in compliance with quality requirements and compare results against predetermined limits
  • Assist engineers in evaluating and improving designs or processes
  • Adhere to environmental and safety procedures associated with lab procedures and identify areas for quality improvements

What you need

Required

  • High School Diploma or GED/equivalent
  • At least 3 years of related technical experience
  • Experience utilizing Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Word and Excel)
  • Ability to lift, push, pull and carry up to 35 pounds
  • Good manual dexterity and hand/eye coordination for operation of tools

Preferred

  • Associates or Bachelors degree with focus in engineering or a technical science
  • At least 2 years of experience working with electrical troubleshooting or software testing
  • Direct experience utilizing test or measurement equipment (ex. calipers, oscilloscopes, and multimeters)

$32.22 – 44.57 per hour plus bonus eligible + benefits. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
