About the role and about You:

Zwift is looking for a Lead Technical Program Manager to join the Growth Engineering team. Growth Engineering is - quite literally - the engine of growth for Zwift as we are responsible for the software and services customers interact with concerning their Zwift subscription. Our project and feature goals drive subscriber acquisition, improve retention, and, therefore, top-line revenue. Simplifications in the Growth space, for example in the area of payments, also contributes significantly to profitability. On the team, you will have a chance to go deep in a variety of different domains - performance and channel marketing and measurement, payments, customer communications, and finance (tax and accounting) in a recurring charge business - to deliver lasting, high-impact solutions for Zwift and its customers.

If you have experience leading projects through distributed software teams, and thrive in entrepreneurial environments where success is determined by leadership and the ability to drive clarity through ambiguity, we should chat. We’re looking for leaders just like you.

We place a high value on flexibility, transparency, and fun while supporting our team to do their best work.

What you’ll do:

  • Work with engineering, product, research and operations teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications the engineering teams can build against
  • Build project plans that effectively balance capitalizing on business opportunity with technical and resource risks
  • Lead and drive the execution phases of projects you own, including tracking progress against milestones/project plan, identifying and resolving blockers, and owning overall project status/health.
  • Coordinate the efforts of multiple software and non-software teams
  • Recommend and drive the adoption of process improvements (within your discipline) to your (and adjacent) teams
  • Participate in hiring, mentoring, and conducting assessments to support promotions of colleagues
  • Lead (and be responsible for) the contributions of more junior Technical Program Managers

 What we’re looking for:

  • 8+ years of multi-disciplinary project management experience, managing scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk
  • 5+ years experience in an agile/Scrum/XP environment with working closely with product, software and QA teams
  • Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related educational background
  • Effectively collaborates with cross-functional partners, involving others in making decisions on behalf of the group. Strikes the right balance between accepting workable solutions and pushing for better alternatives
  • Experienced in structured, methodical problem solving
  • Demonstrated ability to make technical trade-offs considering both long-term and short-term impact.
  • Holding self and team accountable for outcome and sets a high standard of performance.

Bonus points:

  • Passionate about the fitness, wellness, or gaming space
  • Experienced working with geographically distributed teams.

How to stand out among the rest:

Your resume/CV is enough to show off your skills, accomplishments, and experience. However, if you choose to include a cover letter introducing us to your awesome personality, we will read that too.

We strongly believe that different backgrounds and ideas are a competitive advantage; we hire candidates of any race, color, ancestry, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, marital or family status, disability, Veteran status, and any other status. Transparency in Coverage:

Health plan price transparency is designed to help consumers know the cost of covered items or healthcare-related services prior to the date upon which they receive care. Transparency in Coverage (TIC) regulations require health insurers and group health plans to create machine readable files (MRFs) that contain the negotiated rates for in-network providers and allowed amounts derived from historical claims for out-of-network providers and make those files publicly available.

Here is the link to the site on which Kaiser Permanente posts its in-network and out-of-network allowed amount machine-readable files (MRFs).
