Project Manager - Customer Care & Logistics

Sunlighten is seeking a Project Manager to join our health and wellness focused company. Our Project Manager will love project management because it allows you to build meaningful experiences and technology that makes people’s lives better. This Project Manager within Sunlighten will work closely with our Customer Care and Logistics teams to drive projects that streamline processes, improve efficiencies, and elevate the overall customer journey. As our company has experienced rapid growth, we are committed to ensuring efficiency as we scale up from smaller to larger support operations. You will be responsible for spearheading initiatives related to system optimization, automation, and the creation of insightful logistics reports. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on our organization by ensuring seamless customer experiences and enhancing visibility in our logistics operations, which serve as the critical back engine of the company, post-sale of our saunas. The Project Manager will also coordinate with and report-out to stakeholders across the organization, including: Marketing, Manufacturing, IT Project Management, Business Intelligence, and Senior Leadership.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Effectively manage all projects on the Customer Care and Logistics teams, ensuring successful execution and delivery
• Develop comprehensive project plans that consider cross-team dependencies and incorporate multi-phased deliverables, to facilitate effective communication and seamless coordination
• Assist with the creation, adoption, and implementation of effective project organization and completion methods by developing step-by-step approaches and best practices to manage projects efficiently from start to finish

• Ensure efficient resource utilization by assigning duties and responsibilities and overseeing workflows
• Collaborate with Directors to implement project scoring models, capacity models, and timelines to ensure tasks & projects are aligned with team member’s capacity and compliance requirements
• Set and track project milestones, proactively manage and account for unforeseen delays, and realign schedules and expectations as necessary
• Collect, analyze, and summarize information and trends to prepare project status reports to display to team members, teams, and the wider organization. This includes reporting KPI’s on project completion percentages by Business Unit on a weekly, quarterly and annual basis
• Keep projects and associated tasks on track to meet requirements, ensure effective communication and visibility regarding any changes in scope and/or timelines, and provide full visibility/transparency into the status of each tasks/project

• Create, track, and maintain product related KPI’s to ensure completed projects are operating as expected by monitoring performance against established benchmarks
• Proficient with, or ability/willingness to become proficient with a range of general and specialized applications, software, and hardware used by Sunlighten
• Other duties & responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Customer Care and Director of Logisitcs

Requirements

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field highly preferred
• 3-5 years of proven experience in managing projects of similar size and type required
• Project Management Certification(s) - preferred
• Experience with agile, waterfall, and/or similar project management work flows
• Experience managing technical projects in DevOps, Jira, and/or other PM systems
• Experience with Ideation and Product Road-mapping applications (e.g. Aha! or similar)
