Client Location/Timezone: Perth, Australian Western Standard Time

Company/Client Overview: Fast-growing Transport Company based in Perth

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Full-Stack Developer to join our client's team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing their app services and website infrastructure, with a particular focus on maintaining and enhancing their VueJS and NodeJS applications. This position requires someone who can handle both routine maintenance and strategic development, ensuring their digital products remain secure, functional, and up-to-date.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain existing web applications and services
  • Perform regular updates to API integrations, particularly with Xero
  • Address security concerns related to infrastructure (Firebase/Google)
  • Troubleshoot and fix data integrity issues that could impact service usability
  • Process and manage invoices generated through the client's application
  • Implement new features and functionality as requested by the business owner
  • Rebuild components of the application when necessary
  • Expand the application by developing and integrating new pages
  • Monitor application performance and suggest improvements

    Requirements

  • Strong experience with VueJS framework and NodeJS
  • Full-stack development capabilities preferred
  • Experience with API integrations, particularly Xero
  • Knowledge of Firebase or similar Google infrastructure services
  • Understanding of security best practices for web applications
  • Problem-solving skills to address unexpected issues with minimal disruption
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative on maintenance tasks
  • Experience with invoice processing systems is a plus
  • Strong communication skills to translate technical issues into understandable terms
  • Demonstrated ability to extend existing applications with new features
  • With a portfolio of relevant projects and experience with similar technologies.
