The Director of Business Development is a leadership role responsible for overseeing and supporting all local Business Development Executives in their respective regions. They will play a critical role in driving the growth and success of the organization by providing strategic direction, hands-on training, and performance management. The Director will collaborate closely with the Regional Vice President of Operations (RVP) and the Vice President of Sales & Marketing to align business development efforts with overall company objectives.
Healthcare Industry experience required.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to achieve sales targets and expand market presence.
- Provide guidance and support to Business Development Executives, including hands-on training, coaching, and mentoring, to enhance their skills and effectiveness.
- Ensure the sales team is on track to hit key performance indicators (KPI’s) analyze trends, and make data-driven decisions to optimize sales performance.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations of direct reports, setting clear goals, and providing constructive feedback to drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and update marketing strategies based on market analysis and sales data, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including potential clients, partners, and industry influencers, to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities.
- Lead the development and execution of territory-specific sales strategies, leveraging market insights and competitive intelligence to gain a competitive edge.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as operations and finance, to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives and effective delivery of services to clients.
- Drive innovation and stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to identify new avenues for business growth and competitive advantage.

Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- Healthcare Industry experience required.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Proven track record of success in healthcare/home care sales, with at least 3-5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities with 1-2+ years of direct sales management experience preferred.
- Experience tracking sales activity and reporting in a CRM system (e.g., HubSpot) is a plus.
