Job Description

As a Security Officer - Real Estate Dispatch in Hillsboro, OR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. You will play a key role in communication and coordination, supporting a secure environment for tenants and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, offering support and communication as needed.
• Monitor and operate dispatch systems to coordinate security-related activities and communicate with on-site personnel.
• Maintain accurate logs and records of all dispatch communications and incidents.
• Communicate with on-site security-related staff, property management, and emergency responders as needed to relay information and instructions.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and managing visitor and contractor check-ins when required.
• Support regular and random patrols by coordinating with mobile officers around the business location and its perimeter, as applicable to the dispatch role.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
