Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic retail leader to be our Director of Retail overseeing the retail operations within the T-Mobile Arena.  This leadership role will be the main point of contact for the client while leading a retail sales team in executing “The Difference” focused on retail operations, human resources and financials. You will implement procedural standards, on-site operations and e-commerce management as well as drive the customer experience, product assortment and culture. 

Pay Rate: Up to $160,000.00 based on experience 

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of demonstrated retail product merchandising and buying experience, including experience within high-traffic, location-based entertainment retail
• Proven track record managing multi-location, multi-million-dollar product categories and businesses
• Deep understanding of merchandising principles, market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscape
• Clear capability to analyze, report, and communicate business results effectively
•  Adaptability to a fast-paced, ever-changing environment with multiple partners
•  Highly proficient with retail and inventory systems purchasing software
•  Reside in Las Vegas market

Job Responsibilities:

•  Recruit, train, and develop retail teams that exemplify best-in-class customer experience
•  Develop retail sales teams to shape customer experience through expert understanding of product in relation to excellence in execution, service, visual merchandising, building a sale, and service focused culture
•  Oversee purchasing for retail operation, with special attention to margin, inventory levels, “always in stock” key items and product categories
•  Builds and maintains strong relationships with clients, guests, internal locations, retail partners and Rank + Rally team members.
•  Establish processes in all areas of the business to be more operationally efficient and cost effective 
•  Works alongside the T-Mobile Arena team on growth strategy through marketing initiatives 
•  Achieves assigned budget goals, manages business financials, and assists in required department reporting
•  Compiles all necessary parts of month end closing including but not limited to sales reports, labor spend, expenses, inventory levels (receiving, POs, and accruals)
•  Conduct regular meetings with stakeholders to update on progress, solicit feedback, and create accountability.
•  Perform internal assessments of retail sales performance by communicating progress and assessments on strategy
•  Excellent leadership, organizational, presentation, communication, and customer service skills with a high attention to detail and demonstrated resourcefulness in problem-solving
•  Able to communicate effectively with management team, customers and team members 
•  Comply with company and OSHA standard workplace safety protocols
•  Regularly obtains feedback from clients and customers to improve operations, financials and product mix
•  Promotes a cooperative work climate by maximizing productivity and morale
