About the Role
Seaport Entertainment is looking for Training General Manager to support our New York SEG locations. The Training General Manager is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing effective training programs across various locations to ensure delivery of exceptional service and operational excellence in all food and beverage operations. This role requires a strategic thinker with ability to be hands-on and tactical, with an in depth understanding of food and beverage operations.
What You Will Do
Design, develop, and implement comprehensive training programs for all levels of front of hours staff
Collaborate across departments and stakeholders to identify training needs and align programs with business goals
Conduct training sessions using various modes (e.g. workshops, classroom, e-learning, on the job training, etc. to accommodate different learning styles and business concepts
Continuously update and improve training materials to reflect brand and company standards/policies, industry and best practices, and regulatory requirements
Assess effectiveness of training programs through feedback, performance metrics and observations, and make adjustments to enhance outcomes
Identify and cultivate potential leaders, in partnership with department heads and HR
Diagnose and recommend solutions that impact leadership development, employee relations, retention
Manage training progress and completion of new hires, collaborate with department heads, and ensure consistent application of training programs
Lead communications, rollout, and execution around training initiatives
Support, and facilitate employee engagement and recognition programs in tandem with HR
Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices.
