Manpowergroup, on behalf of its client, a food production and trading company with a leading position in the Greek market and export activity, is looking for her production unit in Ilia, Peloponnese Region, Greece:

Production Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Organizes, manages and monitors all production activities of his department to maximize the use of the organization's resources and meet established production specifications and schedules, volume, cost and wastage targets as well as quality standards with the most effective utilization of resources
• Ensures compliance with health and safety standards in the production area of his/her responsibility to ensure the integrity of the health of shop floor employees, external partners and visitors, but also the operation of the plant according to the company standards
• Plans & leads activities for the advancement of Lean Manufacturing
• Develops direct reports by securing appropriate training, assigning progressively challenging tasks and conducting formal written and verbal performance reviews
• Choose and apply appropriate continuous Improvement tools in a way that will improve production line efficiency, line capacity, and process reliability
• Monitor and report deviation from current procedures, root cause analysis and evaluation of impact on production
• Ensure sustainability of improvements by creating control plans
• Ensures compliance with all policies and procedures set by the company in order to ensure the quality and safety of products within the set standards in the responsibility area

Requirements

• Degree in Chemical Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering or relevant is essential
• 3-5 years of relevant working experience and preferably in Fast Moving Consumer Goods Company will be considered as a very strong asset.
• Six Sigma Green Belt Certification & SAP knowledge will be considered as an asset
• Fluency in English
• Microsoft Office proficiency
• The role is required to work in shifts.
• Demonstrated capability in developing effective and efficient solutions to complex and diverse business problems
