Job Title: Senior Analyst - Capital Projects
In office Location: Augusta, ME
Reports to: Manager - Projects Unit
The base salary range for this position is dependent upon experience and location, ranging from: $78,091 - $97,614
Job Summary:
The Senior Analyst - Capital Projects support project teams by analyzing data, tracking project performance against KPI’s (Key Performance Indicators) and benchmarks. The position works closely with project managers and unit managers to ensure project success, develop summary reports for project and unit managers as well as stakeholders providing valuable insights on project goals.
Major Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Monitor project performance, track KPI’s
2. Prepare reports and presentations for senior OPCO leadership
3. Create and update PM orders for lines projects
4. Perform ancillary work assignments as they relate to the projects
5. Input and maintain project data in PPM
6. Track governance status for CMP Capex Portfolio
7. Coordinate with the PMO on the Investment Planning Process for Project’s related IP3s and IP4s
8. Coordinate with the PMO/Steering Committee on Project’s related agenda items (Charters, PMPs, IP3s, IP4s, IP5s, etc.)
9. Primarily support both Line and Substation Projects
Job Requirements:
Skills/Abilities:
Five years of experience in performing analytics, with experience in the related subject matter preferred.
Strong quantitative skills with the ability to use spreadsheets or similar programs.
Strong written and verbal communications skills with the ability to use the MS Office Suite.
Must be self-directed and have demonstrated initiative as well as the ability to lead people and teams.
Experience/knowledge in SAP and Projectwise Applications
Required Education:
Bachelor’s degree preferred. Associate’s degree with a minimum of 3 years relevant experience or High School/GED with a minimum of 5 years
relevant experience required.
